It is a healthy fat high in several fatty acids, can be used as a healthy fat to cook food and has a high heat point. Your skin recognizes this fat and utilizes it immediately on a cellular level. While we love plants, we believe plant based skincare is simply not sufficient. Many plant based products are highly processed and denatured. Plant-based products can sit on the skin unabsorbed, can dry out the skin, can lead to imbalances or simply do nothing for the skin.
